Website Privacy Policy
Christopher Noble LLC, doing business as Greydog Financial ("Greydog," "we," or "us"), respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through greydogfinancial.com (the "Website"), how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to information collected on the Website and in email between you and us.
If you become a planning client, your client information is also protected by our Client Privacy Policy at greydogfinancial.com/privacy, which you receive when you engage us. Where the two differ for client information, the Client Privacy Policy governs.
By using the Website, you agree to this policy and to our Terms and Conditions at greydogfinancial.com/terms-and-conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
Information you give us
You can browse the Website without giving us any personal information. We collect information only when you choose to provide it, for example when you:
• Download a resource, such as a question list: your name, email address, and, on some forms, when you expect to retire.
• Register for a webinar: your name, email address, and expected retirement timing.
• Book a conversation: your name, email address, optional phone number, a short description of the decision you are facing, and how you heard about us. We do not ask for account numbers or asset amounts on the Website.
• Make a purchase: your name, email address, and billing details. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card or bank account number.
• Email us or reply to our emails.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Website, we and our service providers may automatically collect information about your device and visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how long you stay, the page that referred you, and whether you completed a sign-up or purchase. We may use analytics tools to understand how the Website is used and to improve it. If you give us personal information, such as your email address, this activity information may be associated with it.
Cookies and the Meta Pixel
The Website uses cookies, which are small text files stored by your browser, and similar technologies. Some are needed for the Website and its forms to work. Others measure how the Website and our advertising perform.
We use the Meta Pixel, a tool provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook and Instagram). It records actions such as visiting a page or completing a sign-up, which helps us see whether our ads are working and show our ads to people more likely to find them relevant. Meta may combine this information with other information it holds and uses it under its own privacy policy. We do not control how Meta or other third parties use the information their tools collect.
How we use your information
• To deliver what you asked for: a download, a webinar link, a booked conversation, or a purchase.
• To send our weekly newsletter and related emails (see Email, below).
• To respond to your questions and provide customer service.
• To measure and improve the Website and our advertising, including showing our ads on social media to people likely to find them relevant.
• To keep the Website secure.
• To meet our legal and regulatory obligations as a registered investment adviser.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not receive commissions or referral payments from third parties for products or services.
When you download a resource, register for a webinar, or make a purchase, you will also receive our weekly newsletter. This is stated on each form. Every email we send identifies Greydog Financial as the sender, includes our mailing address, and contains an unsubscribe link. You can unsubscribe at any time using that link, or by emailing [email protected].
As a registered investment adviser, we are required to keep copies of certain communications, including some emails, for a period set by regulation. Unsubscribing stops future emails; it does not remove records we are required to keep.
Who we share information with
We share personal information only as needed to run the Website and our practice:
• Service providers who act on our behalf under their own privacy and security terms: GoHighLevel (website, forms, email, scheduling, and course hosting), Stripe (payments), and Meta (advertising measurement).
• To enforce our agreements, including with a lawyer when necessary.
• In a business transfer, such as a merger, sale, or reorganization of Greydog, to the successor.
• When required by law or by a regulator, or to protect our legal rights.
Your choices
• Email: unsubscribe using the link in any email, or ask us by email.
• Cookies: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the Website may not work without them.
• Ads on Facebook and Instagram: you can adjust how Meta uses activity from other websites in the ad preferences of your Facebook or Instagram account. You can also opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies at optout.aboutads.info.
• Your information: you can ask what personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing [email protected]. We will honor deletion requests except for records we are required by law to keep.
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common standard for responding to it, and the Website does not currently respond to it.
Security
We use reputable service providers and reasonable safeguards, and information entered on the Website is transmitted using encryption (SSL). No website or email transmission is completely secure. Please do not send account numbers, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive financial details by email. Clients provide that information through a secure client portal.
Retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes above, for as long as you remain on our email list, and for any longer period required of registered investment advisers.
Children
The Website is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete it.
Visitors outside the United States
The Website is operated in the United States and is intended for United States residents. Greydog provides advisory services only where it is registered or exempt from registration. If you visit from outside the United States, your information will be processed in the United States.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a new effective date. If we make a material change to how we use personal information, we will also note it on the Website home page.
